A PDF reader that remembers your place and your notes
ScanMyPdf reopens every PDF at the page and zoom you left it on, keeps your highlights and notes with the page they belong to, and finds any word across the document.
Three steps
Open any PDF
Drop a file onto your shelf or open it from your device. It appears with a cover and a progress bar.
Highlight and annotate
Select text to highlight it in yellow, green, blue or pink, then add a note.
Pick up where you left off
Close the file mid-chapter; next time it opens on the same page.
Notes you can take with you
The Notes panel lists every highlight and bookmark with its page number. Copy them all as Markdown to paste into your study notes, a doc or an email.
Search with context
Search lists each match with the surrounding words and marks it on the page, so you can jump to the right one quickly.
Comfortable for long reads
Switch between Paper, Sepia and Night, use focus mode to hide everything but the page, or let ScanMyPdf read the page aloud and turn it for you.
Good to know
Can I highlight text in scanned PDFs?
Yes, once the PDF is searchable. Use Make searchable on image-only PDFs first.
Does it work with large PDFs?
Yes. Pages render as you scroll, so long textbooks and manuals stay quick.
Can I export my highlights?
Yes. Copy all highlights and notes as Markdown from the Notes panel.
